Shipping and Return Policy

Our Customer Service Department is open Monday through Friday 9am-6pm EST. Any emails or messages left after hours of during the weekend will be returned the next business day. If you have any questions or difficulty placing an order, please email us at info@flacajewelry.com.

Repair Policy

To request a repair, please use our contact page and be sure to include

  • Contact name
  • Telephone number
  • Proof of purchase (for example, an order confirmation or receipt)
  • A brief description of the problem

Upon receipt of the above information, we will assess and authorize the repair. For items purchased within the last six months, repairs are free of charge.  For purchases over six months old, additional fees based on labor and cost of material may apply.  All repairs are subject to additional shipping charges.

If you've purchased a Flaca Jewelry piece through one of our retail partners, please return the damaged item to the retailer.  


Return + Refund Policies

Flaca Jewelry is dedicated to our customer service and providing the most positive shopping experience for all of our shoppers. If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact info@flacajewelry.com to request a return. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Discounted or customized items are final sale and not eligible for return.

Full priced items in original condition are returnable for refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We recommend using an insured courier such as UPS, FedEx or USPS.  Flaca Jewelry, Inc. is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, full priced items in original condition are returnable for refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt. Please use our contact page for any inquiries regarding returns.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are not eligible for return.

 

Shipping Policy

Each Flaca Jewelry creation is hand-made when ordered.  Please allow between 7-10 days on top of shipping for your custom piece of jewelry to arrive.  Most orders are ready to ship within 2-3 days of ordering, but some require additional time in production.

 

Exchange Policy

We don't offer direct exchanges through the site.  If you'd like to exchange a product, we will refund you the cost and you will have to place a new order online through our website.

 

Jewelry Care 

All Flaca Jewelry pieces are 18KT gold plated sterling silver and it is important to us that any jewelry purchased through Flacajewelry.com maintains it's high quality throughout the years. 

We recommend cleaning as often as needed using a polishing cloth or a soft cotton cloth on any metal parts to reduce tarnish.  Please keep in mind, due to personal pH levels of peoples' skin and the frequency of wear, some jewelry may tarnish more quickly for some.  Since exposure to air can also oxidize jewelry, we recommend storing jewelry in an air tight pouch, rather than keeping it exposed to air.  

Flaca Jewelry uses a heavy gold plating, but over time, and frequency of wear, this plating may begin to fade.  If necessary, your first re-plate is complimentary.  Any additional plating services that may need to be maintained will incur a $20 fee in addition to shipping.

Please try to avoid over-exposing the jewelry to water and sunlight.  We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, etc.

Please note Flaca Jewelry will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur by forgoing the above recommendations.
